When I first joined the team, my first self-initiated project was to grow our social media pages, specifically Facebook and Instagram. I chose these two as these were the platforms most students used - it only makes sense to have a strong presence on the social platforms our users frequent, so as to better engage them and reach out to them. To craft the best strategy possible, I went through existing data on the social media sites and student surveys to see what was missing in existing strategies, and to better understand student needs.
